Ngorongoro is an extinct, collapsed volcano. You can descent some 2000 feet to explore the crater floor. Look out for the roaring lion or the elephants wandering along well-known tracks. If you’re lucky you may see the endangered rhino feeding by the river. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to the camp.

Take a short flight to the great Serengeti the “endless plains”. Check for dates of the Great Migration where you will see millions of wildebeest, Thompson’s gazelle and zebras gather for the annual migration and where they are preyed by predators such as Lion, cheetah, leopards and hyenas, reticulated giraffe and the Somali ostrich.
