Arrival in Venice and transfer via a private boat to your hotel. Check in for a three-night stay. Once you settle down, wander through the delightful cobbled streets and piazzas of this romantic city, discovering the impressive churches, beautiful bridges, and quaint trattorias. A visit to Venice is not complete without a ride on a Gondola, so you will start today with a romantic private gondola ride through the Canals of Venice. Soak up the vibrant atmosphere in St. Mark's Square, and marvel at the beautiful mosaics that adorn the Basilica and maybe visit the Doge's Palace. It is advisable to take a tour of this important Venetian landmark to fully understand its extensive history.

After breakfast, board your shared transfer to Santa Lucia station and check in for your journey on the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. You will shown to your private compartment before you enjoy a three-course lunch. Gaze at the beautiful passing scenery of the Italian Dolomites, the Austrian and Swiss Alps. Afternoon tea is served in your compartment.Dinner is a four course meal served in one of the three restaurant cars, after which you might like to visit the Bar Car '3674', where the resident pianist plays a baby grand piano.
